"Sorry man." Taylor apologised. "I thought I'd might be able to find out how it happened, but I guess not. You were too interested in what Zac was doing at the time."
Isaac nodded.
"It's ok." He said.
"We gotta find out how this happened." Zac frowned. "We don't want anything like this happening once, let alone a second time."
There was a kind of silence for a moment. Then Isaac picked up his arm. He just stared at it.
Taylor, Zac and Rachel looked at each other. Then Taylor spotted someone.
"Zoe? Zoe do you know what happened?"
Zoe looked upset.
"Don't badger her." Diana insisted.
"Sorry. Sorry Zoe. I was just -" he cut himself off.
Zoe sniffed and then Taylor gave her a huge hug.
"No, no, no Zoe. It wasn't your fault. It was just an accident ok?"
"What?" asked Zac.
"Zoe, umm, Zoe thought Isaac was just a plant y'know? I mean, c'mon, Ike, you do a really good job." Taylor began.
Isaac gave him a wry smile.
"Anyway, Zoe, uhh, Zoe just pulled off one of the stems, not knowing it was your arm." He finished. "She just sent me a video."
Isaac glanced down at a now crying Zoe.
"Oh, Zoe, it's ok. Really. See? I'm alive! It was just an accident. Don't cry."
"I'm sowee Ikey."
Isaac wrapped his remaining arm around his little sister.
"It's ok Zoe. It's ok."
That didn't really seem to console her.
"Well, hey look, I've got lots of arms. What's one missing arm gonna do?"
Zoe started giggling as Isaac started shape shifting arms coming from everywhere. His sides, his back, one from his head, his legs even. In fact, the silly fellow kept creating arms until he was pretty much a mass of arms and nothing else.
"Well," Taylor said to Zac, "at least he not feeling sorry for himself."
