*Hey Ike!*
*Yeah?*
*You'd better stop flirting with Carla.*
*I'm not flirting.*
*Sure you're not.*
*Fine, I'm flirting with her. But what straight, available guy my age wouldn't? I mean, c'mon!*
Taylor laughed, telepathically of course. He'd get some strange looks off Zac and Nate if he laughed aloud.
*Still, I'm getting some bad vibes off Nate. I don't think he likes you flirting with her.*
*Ahh, stuff him.*
"You miss home much?" Zac asked Nate.
"Oh, a little." He shrugged. "But all that much."
"Really? I know I miss hanging out with our friends and stuff when we're touring."
"Well, yeah. But we grew up in a pretty secluded area, y'know? Not many people to make friends with."
Rachel was planning on rejoining Carla, now that she had returned from the bathroom (it was far enough away - you wouldn't want to be busting). Of course, she noticed that Isaac was now talking to her.
*Hey Ike, mind if I join you? Or are you chatting her up?*
*Umm, well, you can join us if you want.*
Rachel sent him a laugh.
*Don't monopolise Carla all evening ok?* she replied, as she joined Taylor.
"He is such an over-protective jerk sometimes." Carla admitted in frustration. "Sometimes I think Nate gets some sort sick pleasure out of scaring off any guy I might have a romantic interest in."
Isaac nodded.
"On the other hand, I'm beginning to think no girl is capable of having a romantic interest in me. Maybe I have girl repellant or something."
Carla laughed.
"All, heh, all I can say is I'd better have guy repellant." He continued. "I really, really hope I have guy repellant."
"Eww." Carla pulled a face.
"Yeah. Exactly. Eww."
