"Hi Tay."
"Hey Jess. Is Rach here."
"Yeah." She leaned in towards him. "She's a little upset. I tried to find out what it was, but she won't tell me."
Taylor nodded and walked in. He leaned over Rachel's shoulder.
"Hey gorgeous."
She smiled.
"Hi Tay."
"Wanna go for a walk?"
"Sure."
Rachel got up and Taylor took her hand in his. They walked out of the hotel room and started down the hallway to the elevator.
"So, uhh, what's wrong?"
"Nothing."
Taylor was silent.
"Oh… I hate that." Rachel burst out. "I really hate the fact that I can't say 'nothing' to you when it's so obvious to you that that's not the case at all."
Taylor told his hand from hers, and wrapped that arm around her waist instead.
"That's ok. If you don't want to talk about it that's fine, and I admit, I could kinda feel that too. But, y'know. What kinda of boyfriend would I be if I didn't even try to find out?"
She smiled.
"It's just something I have to think about on my own, y'know?"
Taylor nodded.
"Umm, by the way, I know I was flirting a bit at the meet and greet. I just want to apologise. I don't mean anything by it."
"Yeah, I know you don't Tay."
"I hope that's not what upset you."
"Nah."
Taylor kissed her cheek.
"Well, just remember, I'm always here for you."
