Chapter 4

The following Monday, they picked up the tour where they had left off. Everything was getting back to normal – well as normal as things could get when you have superhuman powers!

And even then it wasn’t to last long.

Right now, however, Isaac, Taylor and Zac were doing an interview on a morning radio show.

“How’s the leg, Ike?” asked the DJ, Chad.

“It’s so good to be out of that cast, I tell you what,” Isaac grinned.

“Yeah, and not just for him!” Taylor teased. “Ike started working on a solo album – ‘Isaac is bored’.”

“Oh man, some of the songs...” Zac snickered. “He had nothing better to do with his time than write songs about him being bored and watching movies. Even movies he wouldn’t normally watch.”

“Yeah, did I see you watching ‘Little Women’ Ike? And what about ‘Pride and Prejudice’?”

“You recognised them?”

“Ooh, you’re blushing Tay!” Zac grinned delightedly.

“Hey, it’s only because Mom was sick once and I came in and -”

“Sure,” Isaac replied. “Whatever you say Taylor.”

“At least I don’t quote cartoons in my lyrics.”

“Oh c’mon Tay, you have to admit the ‘this can only end in tears’ bit was pretty funny,” Zac commented.

“Are you ever gonna release any of those songs Ike?” Chad asked.

He paused.

“No,” Taylor interjected. “If you do, I will disown you as my brother.”

“Good, one less person to get Christmas presents for.”

“So when’s the concert guys?” Chad cut in.

“This afternoon. It’s gonna rock,” Taylor replied.

“Sold out too I hear?”

“Yeah.”

“What are you doing tomorrow?”

“Well, we have a signing at umm... a mall?”

“Yeah, it’s a mall,” Isaac grinned. “And like Tay, I can’t remember what the name is.”

“It’s the Sunshine Plaza,” Zac replied in a ‘duh’ voice. “I think...”

“I think you mean Sunbeam Plaza,” Chad said.

“Yeah, that’s the place.”
